What to Stock Before Hurricane Season: A Caribbean Checklist

Hurricane season runs June to November. When a storm is named, deliveries slow and shelves empty fast. This is a simple checklist to order early — so your clinic or pharmacy is ready before the first warning, not scrambling after it.

Order the basics early

Gloves, wound care, IV sets, sanitiser and masks move fastest in an emergency. Lead times stretch the moment a storm is named, so build your reserve in June and July.

Plan for power and water loss

Stock extra first-aid, wound care and hand sanitiser. If a clinic loses power, simple supplies carry the load until services return.

Keep a two-week buffer

A short reserve covers the gap between a warning and your next delivery. It is the cheapest insurance you can hold.

Talk to your rep before the peak

We can set up a standing order for your fast-movers, so you are not ordering in a panic when the forecast turns.
